Nicky Acuna Ocana has led high performing recruitment teams for over 25 years. 

As Regional Managing Director for the UK, Europe and USA, Nicky leads a team of highly-skilled recruitment consultants who are experts in recruiting into business services functions within law firms, accountancy practices and management consultancies.

Nicky is a passionate advocate of ED&I and founded Ambition's global ED&I committee. She regularly writes articles on inclusive hiring, and various topics relating to ED&I in recruitment and is committed to championing equity, diversity and inclusion both internally at Ambition and externally with professional services clients. She is a regular speaker at client partnership conferences to discuss attraction and retention strategies and how to incorporate ED&I and ESG into firms’ hiring policies.

Nicky hosts the Leaders with Ambition podcast where she speaks with exceptional leaders from Professional Services to explore their career journeys and secrets to their success.

Outside of Ambition, Nicky is proud to be a member of Chief as well as a Board Director on a volunteer basis at Haverstock Career Network.
