What We're Looking For:
Valuation Executive/Assistant Manager
We are working closely with a top 50 Accountancy Practice that is keen on continuing the growth of the Corporate Finance Valuations team. They are looking for a talented Valuations Executive/Assistant Manager .
About the Role:
- Valuations Focus: Lead and support valuation projects, which will be a significant part of your role.
- Diverse Projects: Work on a variety of corporate finance services, including M&A, financial modelling, and due diligence, with deal values ranging from £1m to £30m.
- Client Engagement: Engage with clients across different sectors, providing expert advisory services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare valuation working papers, reports, and presentations.
- Assist in preparing expert evidence for litigious matters.
- Support small to mid-market deals with financial due diligence, information memoranda, and financial models.
- Deliver buy-side and sell-side advisory engagements.
- Analyse financial statements and deal documentation.
- Review legal documents and assist with completion procedures.
- Conduct market research to support valuations and identify potential buyers or targets.
What We're Looking For:
- ACA finalist/qualified or CFA qualification.
- Experience in corporate finance and company valuations.
- Client-facing experience with SME/owner-managed businesses.
- Familiarity with corporate intelligence databases (e.g., PitchBook, MarkToMarket).
- Excellent attention to detail and high-quality work standards.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Analytical skills to identify data inaccuracies or inconsistencies.
- 2:1 degree desirable.
