Tax Semi-Senior

Harrow based Accountancy practice looking for a Tax Semi-Senior to join their motivated, friendly and diverse team.

The Role:
This role is split 60% Personal Tax and 40% Corporate Tax

• Manage a portfolio of private clients, including sole traders, partnerships, LLP's and trusts
• Prepare and implement a plan SATR and dividend planning
• Provide tax advice and support to client directors in their pre and post-sales roles
• Authorise Corporation Tax returns to be sent to clients
• Conclude HMRC enquiries for own portfolio and allocated work
• Deliver property LLP and other allocated projects
• Recommend tax planning opportunities and when agreed, implementing them
• Train junior members of staff as required

The Candidate:

• Studying ATT or Qualified and/or studying for CTA
• Income Tax, Capital Gain Tax, Corporation Tax
• Good working knowledge of MS Office especially Word and Excel
• Experience in working in a Chartered Accountancy Practice
• Good organisational kills
• Problem solving approach
• Excellent written and oral communication and client service skills
• Excellent commercial awareness

Desirable:

• CCH Tax software and CCH Practice Managements
• Trust Tax including preparation of Trust and Estate Returns, Value Added Tax and Inheritance Tax
