Senior Pricing Analyst
A top international law firm are looking for a Senior Pricing Analyst to join their excellent Pricing team. The great thing about this role is that it's great combination of pricing and commercial finance.
As the Senior Pricing Analyst some of your key responsibilities will include -
- Manage the pricing and financial aspects of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and business development pitches.
- Rate Development: Create rate proposals, alternative fee arrangements, fee estimates, matter budgets, and pricing options for clients.
- Alternative Fee Structures: Develop and oversee alternative fee arrangements to meet client expectations and firm profitability targets.
- Manage the annual rate-setting process, conduct benchmarking analysis, and adjust billing rates based on market trends.
- Lead projects analysing historical matters to support pricing and budgeting.
- Profitability Analysis: Conduct analyses to identify trends affecting profitability and recommend adjustments.
- Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to senior management and partners.
- Develop and interpret financial dashboards to provide strategic insights.
- Work with practice leaders to improve service delivery models for efficiency and profitability.
- Create and refine financial models and templates to enhance pricing capabilities.
- Mentor junior analysts and share expertise in pricing strategies and financial analysis.
- Lead cross-functional projects related to investments, process improvements, and policy updates.
To be successful in this Senior Pricing Analyst role you must have -
- Experience: 3-5 years of financial analysis experience, with a focus on pricing in a professional services environment.
- Legal industry experience preferred.
- Experience in strategic pricing and commercial analysis.
- Professional qualifications such as CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent are desirable
- Analytical Skills: Expertise in Excel and Management Information (MI) systems; ability to analyse data and make strategic recommendations.
- Leadership: Ability to manage projects, mentor team members, and influence stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of market trends.
