Revenue Controller

I am delighted to be partnered with a leading global law firm in their search for Revenue Analyst to join their London office. The role reports into an experienced Revenue Manager and sits in a wider team of 6. Duties of the role:

  • Primary contact for financial matters in London.
  • Lead client meetings and calls on lock-up and billing cycle coordination.
  • Provide expert analysis on billings, WIP, AR, and client accounts.
  • Ensure compliance with client fee deals and terms of engagement.
  • Address WIP balances, keeping monthly WIP within 30-60 days.
  • Spot-check invoices for accuracy and resolve issues with relevant teams.
  • Keep schedules and WIP Tracker Reports updated.
  • Manage paper and electronic billing, tracking records.
  • Ensure compliance with HMRC, Solicitors Regulatory Authority, and guidelines.
  • Communicate client changes to the local billing community.
  • Attend meetings with billing teams to discuss lock-up and actions.
  • Escalate issues with the Revenue Team Leader and Manager.
  • Collaborate with CSR members for seamless service.
  • Present recommendations to client teams based on SAP knowledge.
  • Deliver bespoke analysis for client teams and Finance Management.
  • Create a network to maximize billing cycle and collections efficiency.
  • Attend team meetings to discuss and resolve issues.
  • Ensure compliance with billing processes with the Pricing Team's help.
  • Influence Billing Partners and local billing teams to meet deadlines

The right candidate will need:

  • Extensive knowledge of electronic billing systems.
  • Significant business administrative experience.
  • Proven ability to advise senior leadership and make key decisions.
  • Energetic, forward-thinking, and creative with high ethical standards.
  • Strong technical skills, analytical ability, and good judgment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build productive relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Commercially pragmatic with an understanding of client relationships.
  • Influence clients to refine billing practices and resolve issues.
  • Deliver high-quality work consistently.
  • Maintain a courteous and professional manner.
