Private Client Tax Assistant Manager

A leading UK wealth management and professional services group with over 186 years of experience are looking for a Private Client Tax Manager to join their London office. They offer financial and professional services to individuals, family trusts, intermediaries, charities, and businesses. Role Purpose: As an Assistant Manager, you will ensure annual tax compliance and identify planning opportunities for a diverse client portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality client service.
• Manage a portfolio including sole traders, partners, HNWIs, non-UK domiciliary, non-UK residents, partnerships, and trusts.
• Handle compliance, accounts, tax returns, and computations.
• Identify planning opportunities and prepare client reports.
• Attend client meetings and answer tax-related queries.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures.
• Manage client billing and time analysis.
• Attend internal training sessions.
• Support colleagues on various tasks.
• Participate in business development and marketing activities.

• Maintaining technical expertise.

Qualifications:

• ACA/CTA or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in a professional services firm.
• Knowledge of personal tax compliance and advisory work.
