Marketing & Business Development Manager

This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive the go-to-market strategy for service lines, contributing significantly to their ambitious growth plans. As the Marketing and Business Development Manager, you will craft and execute marketing and business development strategies for key service areas such as Tax, Outsourcing, and Transaction Advisory Services. Additionally, you will mentor and lead a Marketing and BD Executive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement detailed marketing and BD plans for key service lines to support market strategies.
- Research, negotiate, and manage sponsorships and events, ensuring clear objectives and ROI.
- Propose relevant and engaging themes for events and communication schedules.
- Collaborate with other Marketing Managers and the Head of Marketing and BD to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
- Manage budgets, evaluating cost vs. benefit to ensure efficient resource use.
- Ensure all activities have clear objectives to generate sales leads.
- Identify and advance sales opportunities within the existing client base.
- Work closely with the Business Development Manager to capitalize on regulatory and market changes.
- Represent Marketing and BD at service line meetings.
- Supervise the Marketing and BD Executive.
Candidate Profile
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Experience in professional services marketing and business development.
- Strong project management abilities.
- Senior stakeholder management.
- Strategic vision and planning.
- Proven track record in developing and executing campaigns, events, and managing sponsorships.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong copywriting and copyediting skills for web content, advertising, and direct mail.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Experience within an accountancy firm.
- Previous line management experience.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign.
- Experience with social media campaigns.
