About the Role:
Our client, a leading law firm who are renowned for their private client and real estate focus, alongside strong corporate and dispute resolution work are hiring for a Business Development Manager to join their Dispute Resolution team. As a firm they work with a wide range of clients and complex matters. Their approach is centred on building genuine relationships, focusing on what matters to their clients, and adapting their advice to their unique situations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive marketing and business development strategy for the Dispute Resolution practice, tailored to each team.
- Initiative Leadership: Drive business development initiatives to enhance the practice's reputation and grow client relationships.
- Marketing Campaigns: Develop and execute campaigns to promote dispute resolution services, leveraging digital, events, and thought leadership content.
- PR and Media: Collaborate with external PR agencies to source strategic opportunities and integrate them with marketing campaigns.
- Client Relationship Management: Support fee earners in building and maintaining relationships with key intermediaries and referral sources.
- Cross-Selling: Encourage cross-selling of services across the firm, particularly with Private Wealth and Corporate teams.
- Pitch and Proposal Coordination: Provide strategic advice and coordination for pitches, proposals, and presentations.
- Event Management: Support profile-raising through events, conferences, and overseas trips, ensuring ROI is monitored.
- Performance Monitoring: Track and report on the effectiveness of business development and marketing initiatives.
- Directory Submissions: Coordinate annual directories process and submissions for rankings, listings, and awards.
Ideal Candidate:
- Solid experience in a business development role gained within a legal or professional services environment
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong client focus and relationship-building skills.
- Organised with good project management abilities.
