Group Revenue Manager

Group Revenue Manager position now available at international law firm.

As the Group Revenue Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and optimising the firm's revenue cycle through the development and implementation of effective and efficient revenue management processes. Management of the Revenue Team (c15 people across 7 offices) which is responsible for WIP management and billing and work closely with the Credit Control team to manage outstanding invoices.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement best practices for WIP management and billing.
  • Continuously improve the revenue processes. Continually assess existing systems and processes and lead on any change initiatives required.
  • Develop and maintain all relevant processes documentation and ensure that these processes are followed across the firm.
  • Manage and develop direct reports to ensure that all team objectives and billing deadlines are achieved
  • Lead the billing software development/enhancement and training.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators related to WIP management and billing.
  • Establish a framework of governance to ensure accuracy and timeliness of billing.
  • Maintain knowledge of all significant WIP and debt balances at Partner and office level, and work with the Revenue Controller and Credit Control teams to reduce these balances.
  • Monitor missing timesheets and incorrect time recording behaviour and ensure that missing timesheets are promptly followed up. Work with the partners to minimise missing time and reduce latency of time recording.
  • Manage the ebilling function (2 people) to ensure effective and efficient ebilling process are embedded to ensure the firm meet all the ebilling guidelines

Experience needed:

  • Prior experience of 3E and EBillingHub (Elite Enterprise also an advantage)
  • 5 years' plus revenue management experience in a law firm
  • Prior exposure to meeting with and dealing with Partners
  • Advanced knowledge of standard billing practices and procedures
  • Previous people management experience essential
