Finance Data & Information Analyst

Our client, a prestigious magic circle Law Firm are looking for a Finance Data & Information Analyst to join their Finance Systems team. The Finance Systems team has three main aims: ensure the Finance systems capture all the data necessary to meet business information requirements, to develop and deliver reporting sources and educate others on interpreting Finance Information Artefacts.



Role & Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities as a Finance Data & Information Analyst will be spread across three different areas: Data Analysis, Data Governance and Information Generation.

• You will be understanding data used by financial reporting and ultimately developing operational knowledge of Finance.
• Using data provided by the Finance System Team, you will be supporting and advising queries.
• You will be assisting the Finance Systems Technical Architect to streamline and rationalise the Finance Data Architecture.
• You will be implementing recommendations by attending the Data Quality Assurance Group
• Work with Business Analysts to support the creation of new data sources.
• You will be developing and modifying financial reports using BI Stack as well as Microsoft SQL.

Key Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills with ability to build SQL Scripts.
• Experience of end-to-end delivery of BI Support Solutions
• Extensive experience working within a data governance model.
• Finance writing experience as well as ability to deliver clear data specifications and supporting administration guides.
• Ability to use your own initiative and strong desire to deliver duties to a high standard.

Working Model: Hybrid, 3 days from London office, 2 days WFH.
