Finance assistant
I am delighted to be partnered with a Boutique City based law firm in their search for a Finance assistant to join their London office. Joining an Accounts team of 5 this role offers great exposure to a variety of tasks across legal finance.
Daily Duties:
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Managing daily bank transactions and overseeing both client and office accounts
- Processing weekly staff expenses and credit card payments via Clearspend.
- Setting up disbursement payments and preparing weekly payment runs
- Providing credit control support and professionally interfacing with clients
- Offering general finance administrative support, including electronic filing and managing the Accounts inbox
- Checking, obtaining authorization, and processing Purchase Ledger invoices
- Undertaking various other tasks as needed
- Assist with month-end processes within your area of responsibility
- Support fee earners and respond to queries efficiently and promptly
- Remind fee earners about the annual client balance confirmation correspondence
- Liaise with EAs for internal printing recharges
- Communicate with third-party suppliers and resolve ad hoc queries
The right candidate will have:
- Positive attitude, reliable, and maintains confidentiality
- Advanced proficiency in Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail and precision
- Knowledge of SAR (preferred)
- Superior organizational and time management abilities
- Skilled at fostering and maintaining trustful relationships with colleagues at all levels
- Experience with Aderant system (preferred)
- Thrives both independently and as part of a team
- Passionate about personal development and eager to contribute to the firm's success
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to tailor approach to different needs
- Embodies company values and serves as a positive role model
