Events Coordinator

About the Role:

As an Events Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, and hosting a variety of events. You will work closely with the Events Manager and the Business Development & Marketing team at the firm to ensure the success of both internal and external events. Key Responsibilities:

  • Event Organisation: Support the Events Manager in planning, managing, and executing the firm's events programme. This includes researching venues, booking locations, arranging entertainment, creating seating plans, and sending invitations.
  • Logistics Management: Handle all logistics throughout the event lifecycle, from initial planning to on-site attendance, ensuring a high-quality attendee experience.
  • Administration: Maintain the events planner and calendar, manage communication with suppliers, ensure timely invoice processing, and oversee event supplies and stock.
  • Communications: Prepare and lead internal and external event communications, draft updates for monthly reports, and promote events within the firm.
  • Digital/Social Media: Collaborate with the digital team to ensure a strong presence on social media before, during, and after events.
  • Data Management: Manage event lists, upload master lists into the contact data management system, and oversee data collection processes.


Skills and Experience:

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • You have event experience in a professional services firm or a law firm
  • Knowledge of e-communications tools (e.g., Vuture)
  • Expertise in data management systems (e.g., IntroHive, ContactHive)
  • Familiarity with Photoshop and InDesign is desirable
  • Excellent administrative, organisational, and prioritisation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
