Corporate Tax Executives/Seniors in a top 15 Accountancy Practice in London! We are working closely with our client to add to their well-established corporation tax team who are looking executive/senior tax consultants to develop their corporation tax knowledge with the opportunity to work heavily on advisory pieces.

The firm is a growing practice with access to a large network of clients. investing heavily in people, technology and infrastructure. Their London office is based within central London, close to the tube station.

Responsibilities and Duties

As a Corporate Tax Executive/Senior, you will be reporting to the manager and director within the team to assist in managing workflow. The specific role focuses on larger international clients giving you the exposure into more complex, intriguing tax rules and international aspects of taxation. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Be involved in MHA's tax strategy with a strong focus on tax accounting and tax audits of their largest clients
  • Win work from clients through business development and identifying tax issues
  • Provide tax advisory services to a small number of high value clients within your client portfolios
  • Involved in client meetings and presentations where required
  • Review work carried out by junior staff members
  • Provide adequate levels of training to junior staff members


Requirements

Candidates will need to be fully ACA/CTA qualified (post-qualification experience is advantageous) and would ideally have advanced technical knowledge and experience in both tax accounting and tax audits.

Additional requirements include:

  • Experience with large corporates
  • A level of understanding of accounts and audits
  • A strong level of commercial awareness and sound client relationship skills
  • Innovative and creativity when approaching tax issues
  • Effective people management skills
