Business Development Specialist
We a have partnered with a leading US law firm, who are seeking a talented Business Development Specialist to support their Capital Markets and Restructuring practice groups. This role involves a blend of business development and marketing activities, aimed at driving growth and enhancing their market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Practice Support:
- Assist partners and lawyers in executing Practice Group and Client plans.
- Develop and maintain marketing materials, standard slides, credentials, pitch materials, and bios.
- Support cross-selling initiatives and compile legal directory and award submissions.
- Organise partner meetings and collaborate on profile-raising initiatives.
- Pitch Support:
- Prepare tailored credentials and pitches for individual clients.
- Ensure consistency and quality of pitch materials.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Keep partners informed of key client developments.
- Conduct research on clients, people, and markets.
- Manage data on key clients using Microsoft Dynamics and Foundation.
- Client Events:
- Create invitee lists and project plans for events.
- Assist with practice reporting.
- Marketing and Communication:
- Promote publications and thought leadership via PR/Media and social media channels.
- Oversee contact and mailing lists for key clients and practices.
Skills and Competencies:
- Education/Experience:
- Minimum of three years' business development experience in an international law firm or professional services environment.
- Skills:
- General knowledge of business and financial markets, especially capital markets and finance.
- High attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
