Business Development Manager (Real Estate) - 12-14 Month FTC

The Role

This role is pivotal in aligning with the firmwide strategy and working closely with the global Practice Group Business Development team. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) to cover maternity leave.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Client Engagement: Support Partners in targeting potential clients and nurturing existing relationships.
  • Market Insight: Stay updated on relevant developments, legislation, and regulations to enhance departmental knowledge and BD recommendations.
  • Pitch Perfect: Create engaging pitch documents and presentations to strengthen client relationships.
  • Networking: Leverage networking opportunities to build BD knowledge and profile, promoting the firm's strategy, brand, and services.
  • Event Coordination: Organise and host internal and external events, seminars, webinars, and socials.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Assist in the development and execution of effective marketing campaigns.
  • Awards and Directories: Prepare compelling submissions for legal directories and awards to maintain and improve our rankings.
  • Business Planning: Contribute to budgeting processes and monitor spend against budget within your area of responsibility.
  • BD Systems: Maintain and utilise BD systems and infrastructure, including standard pitch content, credentials database, and client relationship management software.

About You:

The firm are committed to your ongoing training and development. To be considered, you should have significant BD and/or Marketing experience within a law firm, ideally supporting a Real Estate practice group. Strong written and numerical skills, a proactive approach, and a focus on process improvement are essential.
