Audit Supervisor
Our client is a top 30 audit and advisory firm known for its commercially astute, partner-led services and they're looking for an audit supervisor to join this friendly and sociable team who enjoy quiz nights and monthly office drinks. The offices were recently refurbished and you won't need to be suited and booted for the most part. You'll also enjoy the fantastic benefits that they offer all employees. You'll be working in a relaxed environment, with core hours of 10am - 4pm with only 2 days required in the office per week. The firm caters to a diverse clientele, including SMEs, large corporates, Not for Profit organisations, and high-net-worth individuals. Clients span various sectors, including restaurants and hospitality, property, media, technology, entertainment, and not-for-profit organisations like charities, trade unions, and higher education establishments. The team is highly collaborative and they seek a like-minded person to join this fantastic team.
Requirements:
Preparation and Review: Prepare and review statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP/FRS102.
Audit Planning and Execution: Report to an audit manager and/or Partner, and plan and execute audits for a diverse range of clients in accordance with International Auditing Standards.
Budget Management: Work within budget constraints and ensure audits are completed efficiently.
Client Management: Manage client expectations effectively.
Supervision: Supervise audit trainees, review their work, assist with their development, and conduct performance evaluations.
Tax Computations: Draft corporate tax computations.
Software Proficiency: Experience with PROaudit (Audit Automation), AP, Alphatax
Additional Tools: Familiarity with Inflo and Data Snipper is beneficial, though training will be provided.
The role requires a professional services background and focuses on managing client relationships and ensuring expectations are met.
