Audit Assistant Manager - Media and Tech clients

Ambition are working with an award winning firm based in Central London that are looking for an Audit Assistant Manager or experience Senior/Supervisor for their media and tech team.

You will be working with clients to provide advice to entrepreneurial fast-growing companies, OMBs and listed businesses.

The firm have been going from strength in recent years and the media and tech team is the fastest growing in the firm. The firm have an excellent track record of promoting staff from within and with the growth of the firm and team there will be plenty of opportunities for progression in the future.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

• Act as the senior on audits reporting directly to manager.
• Responsible from planning through to the completion including drafting the financial statements, the management letter and the letter of representation
• Responsible for managing a team of up to 5 staff.
• Supervise, brief and delegate work to junior members of the audit team
• Make recommendations for improvements to clients accounting systems and controls
• Appraise other members of the team following completion of audits

Requirements

• ACA, ACCA qualified or equivalent
• Proficient in using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Experience of an electronic audit programme
• Experience of CaseWare would be useful
• 6 months+ post qualification experience in audit in the UK
• Experience with tech and media clients would be beneficial
