Senior Business Development Specialist (Paris)
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Business Development Specialist to join our client's Paris office. This role is pivotal in supporting business and client development activities for their antitrust and litigation practices. Reporting to the Paris Business Development Manager, you will collaborate closely with EMEA Practice Group BD managers to drive strategic initiatives and enhance market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of pitches, working closely with lawyers and colleagues.
- Manage standard materials such as credentials, pitches, and bios.
- Compile local and pan-European legal directory and award submissions.
- Facilitate communication between partners within practices, industry groups, or offices.
- Identify and communicate new business and cross-selling opportunities.
- Support the implementation of Practice Group plans and the client's feedback program.
- Conduct research on competitors, clients, and markets.
- Lead pan-European business development projects and supervise event organisation.
Skills and Competencies:
- Minimum of five years' business development experience in an international law firm or professional services environment.
- Extensive knowledge of business and financial markets, with a good understanding of antitrust law.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (in French).
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Proven project management skills and ability to handle complex responsibilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
